I just have to share my 'the dress' story. The first week I opened I took in this lovely wee Boden dress - little did I know it would keep re-visiting loveitagain - in fact 4 times over. It made me think about our kids clothes and how much life they have in them. You can't stop your child growing and it's all well and good holding onto 'stuff' to evoke those treasured memories - but there is nothing better, in my opinion, than seeing 4 gorgerous wee girls getting pleasure from one dress AND 3 mums earning some cash from it. I was absent from my store on Hyndland Street on Saturday... my beautiful daughter Anna was off to university. Tears, smiles, happiness and nerves for all. I'm very proud and honoured that she has shared loveitagain with me. ISABELLA SKIING IN FRANCE

We're just back from Argentiere in France. Made the very bad mistake of driving - us and the rest of the south of England (and Belgium) all driving back on Saturday was NOT GOOD!! Weather was wild but great to be out in the clean fresh air of the French Alps. Glad to be back at loveitagain surrounded by my lovely 'wee' vintage clothes.

I love my wellies and I love my daughters' wellies, glad the black ones are so out of fashion. I even persuaded my older daughter to wear hers as a fashion statement - it worked, the all important peers loved her look. I was really excited when the photographer arrived - to be honest, I wish I could say I was cool about it but sadly I was cleaning and polishing all day. I'm not great at having my photo taken and even worse at pulling my tummy muscles in. Anyway, I'm delighted with the feature and I hope it gives some insight to me and the ethos behind loveitgain.

Happy October holiday - lovely weather! Had some time off with my youngest daughter, older one on school trip to NYC (not bad eh!). Feeling bad for daughter No 2, so had some one on one, which was lovely, we went to St Andrews, dog on tow (nice walk along the beach). Edinburgh, visited Dynamic Earth (Fab) and the West End of course.

VERY EXCITING NEWS - loveitagain kids vintage has been invited to take part in The Glasgow Fashion Week 2009 Catwalk Show. Panic!!

Great way to exhibit all these lovely clothes that we are recycling and re-using. Fantastic that designers will be showing off their 'new looks' but exciting that they are recognising that the 'old' look is also good. Oh I'm so very excited and will go home and have a wee glass of bubbly to celebrate and contemplate pulling together a catwalk show - aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
